Beach Day #3

Sunday was a slow day (activity & picture wise). We all got up & got ready for Church. (There is a great little Church down here that has a pastor who is friends w/ the family we're staying with -- they are so nice, and the Church is so laid back and I just love that we have a Church to visit when we're down here every year!!)

But after Church we stopped by the store & it started to pour rain! So, what's a girl to do? Head to the little outlet mall they have here. This beach is not much for shopping, but they do have a small outlet mall with about 20 shops. And one of them just happened to be Gymboree - and it happens to be a holiday weekend - we all know what that means - SALE!!

After shopping, we headed home, cleaned the house, and laid around. The skies cleared up, so after dinner we decided to head out to the beach for a "night walk".

It's very hard to see the beach in the pictures because it was a little too dark, but I got some cute pictures, so I had to post anyway!!

There is still so much fun to be had in the water - even when it's dark outside!!!

Our girl & her Daddy!

Me & My Girl!!

The puppies came w/ us to the beach - and they helped the kids look for crabs -- it's scary to think but when you walk on the beach at night, unless you have a flashlight, you would never see the TONS of crabs running around. Well, they found all kinds of them. The had the best time running after them.... Anne Marie had one get a little "too close" and she flipped out!! All was well, poor little guy just wanted to find his "home" -- but it was a huge source of entertainment for all the kids (and dogs)

Here's hoping for more sun tomorrow -- but it proves - you don't have to have sun every day to have fun at the beach!!!
