Welcoming A New Cousin!!

Just had to give a BIG formal WELCOME to baby "JJ" !!  We are SOOOOOOO glad you're finally here & can't even explain how excited "someone" in our house was to hold you for the 1st time.  You are just so handsome (and looks alot like Mommy -- but we won't say that outloud around Daddy.)  He really does look a little like my father - we know he's smiling down on him from heaven laughing that my sisters 1st son looks so much like him.    Congrat's to my little sis & her husband!!!! (and BIG sis "N" too ... she's probably more excited than any of us!)

Just In Case You Were Worried......

I just KNOW everyone out there has been wondering how long those lovely, beautiful, sparkly, ever-so-loved zebra shoes were going to last.  Well, I'm afraid they are being put to rest this week.  They have been worn until a hole formed in the toes, they are 1 size too small (really, they've been too small for sometime, but she's MADE herself stuff her foot into them.  She easily wears an 11 (if not bigger) and these are a 10).   I was worried about this day because she has loved them so much I wasn't sure what I was going to replace them with.  I knew I had to find something to "ease the pain of loss".

Then, we were walking in Old N*vy last week looking over the clearance section & what did her eyes see?????????????????????

Shiney, sparkly, BRAND NEW zebra tennis does (not the ballet slipper she loved, but oh how close they were to the original!!)
